Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare

The governmental body previously known as the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare in Nepal is now called the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens (महिला, बालबालिका तथा जेष्ठ नागरिक मन्त्रालय). Its mission is to empower women, children, and senior citizens, especially those economically disadvantaged or socially deprived. The ministry formulates policies and implements programs related to their welfare, rights, and overall development.
